According to at least one youtuber named Plumbella she gave the rating for gameplay only five out of ten where it was argued from the comment section that EA spent too much time on stuff that will be added into basegame such as body hair and sexual orientation and not enough time on making actual game play more interesting from this pack. Maybe EA should have waited until after the high school expansion pack before including sexual orientation. However, being romantic by default is turned off for both genders as well making it confusing as to the difference between mess around and romance since woohoo is basically another word for "sex" and obviously woohoo to a different sim while married because of "mess around" being allowed is basically cheating. Although, I think this option is only for woohoo and not try for a baby. Unless, if turned off completely or allowing for only one gender when it comes to messing around. I personally do not think that Sexual Orientation is really necessary for basegame, because there already is an MCCC mod for this (including MC Woohoo which is an adult mod) and it is also free to get as well, but the default setting of mess around for both male and female without requiring romance means sims could potentially be bisexual as well with autonomy being turned on in theory and especially if it boosts the romantic relationship as well because of messing around. You still have control over your sims pretty much and how you want to play with them according to play style preferences.
